Thanksgiving Masterpiece

Como de costumbre, la receta es la que, hace ya varios, años los amigos de Fonse bautizaron como la del BAILE DEL PAVO.

As usual, the recipe is the one that, several years ago, Fonse´s  friends christened as THE  TURKEY DANCING-

En realidad la receta es la de Armando Scanonne que es así como el Julia Child de Caracas; solo que él no sólo cocina comida francesa…. Para los interesados, la receta completa está en mi blog de cocina Kozinandito.

Actually the recipe is from Armando Scanonne, he is sort of the Julia Child of Caracas, only that he does not only cook French food .... For those interested, the full recipe it is on my cooking blog Kozinandito.

Mientras se marinaba y emborrachaba el pavo (lo inyectamos con mantequilla y brandy- ese tip es de Fonse) pues hay que poner la mesa y arreglarlo todo. Esta vez metí la mesa de la terraza para adentro ya que hace friiiiiio afuera… aunque es otoño el mercurio no perdona.

While the turkey marinated & got drunk (I injected it with butter and brandy - Fonse´s tip btw) well I  set the table and fixed everything. This time around I put the table from the terrace inside, baby it´s coooooold outside even though it´s fall ... the mercury is unforgiving.

Lo mas atómico de la noche, la emoción de los invitados. Aquí en España no se celebra Thanksgiving y estaban todos como niños chiquitos pensando que se iban a comer un pavo tal y como sale en las pelis americanas!!

The most atomic part of the night was the guest´s excitement. Here in Spain they do not celebrate Thanksgiving and they were all like little kids thinking that they were going to eat  turkey as seen on American movies!
